LAHORE: An accountability court of Lahore has summoned the witnesses following the request of the defence counsel in Paragon housing society reference.
During the hearing, the accountability court accepted Khawaja Saad Rafique’s plea for exemption from personal appearance in the hearing. While Salamn Rafique appeared before the court and marked his attendance.
Rafique’s counsel pleaded with the court to summon witnesses to record testimonies. The court issued orders to produce the witnesses Muhammad Bakhsh and Shaukat Ali in the next hearing.
The court adjourned the hearing till November 24
Salman Rafique Talks To Media
Salman Rafique talking to media after appearance before the court, said that the government didn’t take any measures to control the dengue virus.
He held CM Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar responsible for the worst conditions of dengue. He said that the government has zero performance.
Salman Rafique said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and the CM Punjab had to take practical measures instead taking notice of the virus.
The PML-N leader said that the country has been sold to International Monetary Fund (IMF) while everyone is disturbed owing to inflation.
