LAHORE: Accountability Court (AC) of Lahore on Wednesday summoned witnesses on the next hearing in the paragon scandal against Khawaja Saad Rafique after granted him an exemption for appearing before the court in the wake of coronavirus.
The AC Lahore Judge Jawad Ul Hassan heard the paragon scandal against Khawaja brothers while Khawaja Salman Rafique appeared before the court while the Khawaja Saad Rafique submitted an exemption petition.
Khawaja Saad Rafique opined that “I am unable to appear before the court in the fear of coronavirus and lock-down and requested the court accept my petition .”
The court adjourned the hearing until April 21 after approving Saad Rafique request and also summoned witnesses in the case the sub-registrar Aziz Bhathi Town, Qaiser Ameen But on the next hearing.
