Parliament Had to Decide Life Time Disqualification: Nawaz

Islamabad (April 27, 2018): The former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that the decision to disqualify any lawmaker life time  had to be taken by the parliament, however apex court verdict in this regard clearly showed that only PML-N being targeted.

During the meeting with party parliamentarians and leaders in Sargodha, former premier vowed he would lead the nation behind the bar if he was punished despite no corruption charge has been framed against him.

“The culprits who have gobbled up billion of rupees in Cotecna and Rental Power scandal are not being grilled while the former dictator Musharraf is leading the party despite facing high treason cases,” he said adding that Musharraf fled from country pretending back pain, however he was dancing in the party very next day in abroad.“However I am not given permission to inquire health after of my ailing wife and my heart believes it is cruelty and wrong doing with me,” Sharif said.

Commenting over the CPEC he said that Pakistani banks had not money for building of power generating units but Chinese President gifted us CPEC.

“Decision are taken somewhere else and you become helpless, however you can accept such kind of hapless but I never bow before it as my conscience does not allow me to sit at home silently and conceive defeat,” he said adding that despite separation of Bangladesh we had not learnt lessons.He went on saying that country’s respect lies in sanctity of vote and after respecting vote each institution will work under its constitutional terms.

He mentioned that he would go Sindh, Balochistan and KP to apprise people regarding sanctity of voted as People of Sindh have become angry with provincial government and they are looking brave leadership.

“There is o school and college and water in Sindh but the people are compelled to live in such a dire situation,” he said.
