MULTAN: Former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani said that military deployments in Yemen should be decided in parliament. He refused to comment for release of his abducted son, said that he cannot comment over the matter due to its sensitivity.
Yousaf Raza Gillani held meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) chief Owais Noorani at his residence in Multan. While talking to reporters, Gillani said that violence would not be tolerated during election in Karachi. He urged for emphasising electoral reformations in Local Bodies’ (LB) election. He further said that MQM should not argue over victory any other political party during election.
JUP chief Owais Noorani demanded joint session of parliament to decide military deployments in crisis-hit Yemen and summoning Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference by the government. He added that Pakistan was an nuclear power, hence, it should be acted as mediator amongst Islamic countries.
