Peshawar (August 10, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) meeting chaired by party chairman Imran Khan has ended inconclusively as the names of the speaker and deputy speaker could not be finalized.
According to sources, the meeting was held to finalize the names of the speaker and deputy speaker of the provincial assembly, however, the rift between Pervez Khattak and Atif Khan became the bottleneck in the way that irked the party chairman Imran Khan.Prime Minister-in-waiting Imran Khan directed both the party leaders to end their dispute in the best interest to the prosperity and development of the province.
Imran urged that there was utmost need of unity among the party ranks to create transparent and just system in the country.
The very first session of newly elected KP assembly will be held on coming Monday at 10:00 am.The newly elected members of Provincial Assembly will took oath of their offices.
The Assembly will also elect Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the house and Chief Minister of the province.
