ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Bar Council has decided on Thursday to challenge the newly amended law regarding extension in the army chief service tenure passed by both houses of the parliament.
After elected as vice-chairman unopposed of the PCB, Abid Saqi said that PCB will become part of the case filed by the col Retied Inamur Rahim to challenge the army chief service extension law.
Talking to media, he said that PCB will also challenge the Lahore High Court decision against the former army chief Pervez Musharraf verdict announced by the special court to hang him.
PCB leader said that a four-member committee has been formed to contest the case of extension of army chief service tenure law.
