PCB appeals Misbah to cancell his retirement plans

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appealed captain Misbah-ul-Haq to cancel his retirement plans. According to PCB, Pakistani team has to visit England and Australia next year, where National team would need experienced leadership.

However, Misbah-ul-Haq decided to give his retirement from test cricket after leading the series against India. Before leaving for United Arab Emirates he indicated that it would be his last series.

However, PCB officials has requested Misbah-ul-Haq to cancel his retirement plans.

According to Chairman PCB, Shaharyar Khan said that he said Misbah-ul-Haq to cancel his retirement plans for a year, as Pakistan has to go on tour to England and Australia where being captain and senior player,  the presence of Misbah-ul-Haq would be required.

Moreover, he added that he is most successful test captain, team has won 19 tests under his leadership and he made three, 51, 102 and 87 runs in four innings of two tests against England.
