PCB Extends Central Contract Of Women Cricketers

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced to extend the period of country’s women cricket team’s central contract from six months to a period of one year.

As per details, the PCB has also increased the daily allowance of the women cricketers. It has also been announced by the board that the women team will now be traveling in business class on a route of more than five hours.

The PCB has also announced the limit of domestic fee for the women cricketers. According to revised rules the women cricketers will be paid Rs10,000 per match for the domestic tournaments.

On the other hand, the board has increased the salary of women cricketers included in A-category by 20 percent. The players included in A-category were Nida Dar and Sana Mir.

However, the B-category players will get an increase of 18.5 percent and C-category players will get a salary hike of 18 percent.

The board has also increased the daily allowance by 100 percent and the allowance for foreign tours by 50 percent.
