Multan: District administration of Multan has placed containers on all entrance points of Qila Kehna fort Qasim Bagh stadium, the rally venue of the PDM to stop the holding of the rally set for November 30.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Multan Amir Khattak has refused to grand permission to hold rally in the stadium on November 30 and issued an order in this regard to not allowing the rally.
According to the district administration holding of all the rallies, congregations and convention are banned under the coronavirus ordinance. The DC has directed the Assistant Commissioner helping the police.
The police has barred printers to publish publicity banners of the PDM rally and they also got surety bond from the printers while on the violation three years imprisonment and half million fine will be imposed.
On the other hand, the PDM leadership stick to its insistence to hold rally in Multan while despite the risks of the coronavirus and restrictions all the preparations for the rally are continued.
Pakistan Muslim League-N Vice-President has also announced to attend the rally on the instructions of his father.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Palwasha Khan asked that do coronavirus spread only from opposition rallies.
