PESHAWAR: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued flood warning in different parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa following the new spell of heavy rainfall.
PDMA directed the administration of different districts of KP including DI Khan, Naushera, Mansehra, Kohistan, Tor Ghar and Abbottabad to prepare for any emergency situation.
They were also asked to follow precautionary measures to protect people and other property from flash floods.
According to details, floods are feared in rivers, Chenab, Ravi, Sutlej, Beas and Jehlum within the next 72 hours. The authority had also directed the concerned departments to be prepared and on standby.
