PESHAWAR: The bomb disposal squad declared on Monday that the blast occurred before the Peshawar High Court was an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast, not cylinder blast as police said in its earlier report.
According to details, talking to media CCPO Peshawar has the comprehension that the blast might be due to explosive material.
“The investigative teams are getting information as the chases and registration number of the rickshaw, which was used for the blast, have been acquired that will help to find out the owner of the auto,” CCP said.
He said that the blast occurred at a time when the nation was observing the fifth anniversary of Army Public School and other hand anti-polio campaign being launched while the blasts took place at a very sensitive area that is linked with KP assembly on the one side and Radio Pakistan and PHC are on the other side.
