LAHORE: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Monday termed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s move to go to the court on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project a ‘crime against the nation’
Talking to media at International Business Exhibition’s inaugural session at Expo Centre Lahore, Iqbal called for avoiding raising controversies on CPEC.
He also criticized the KP government for moving the court on CPEC. He said that the KP government had move to the court on CPEC just to hide its three-year’s failures.
He blamed the KP government of attempting to block Chinese investment in the country, adding that CEPC was solution of Pakistan’s economic woes.
He said those pundits predicting the government’s fall would suffer embarrassment.
He criticized those forecasting government’s fall said that when the Supreme Court was hearing the petition on the issue no one should indulge in pressuring the judiciary in anyway.
