A petition seeking ban on ouster prime minister Nawaz Sharifs’ political activities filed in Islamabad High Court after the supreme court verdict in panama case.
The petition filed by Pakistani Awami Tehreek pertained that in the light of supreme court decision the former prime minister’s political movement is illegal.
“Political parties act 2002 bar the Nawaz Sharif to take part in political activities as party is registered in the name of Nawaz Sharif, therefore it is requested that after the disqualification of part leader his party should also be banned,” plea pertained.
Meantime, Talking to media outside supreme court PTI leader Babar Awan accused that LNG PM and god father two wanted to clash with the institutions as the disqualified person can’t lead the party further.
“The first shock has pushed the PML-N to GTR and it also proved that PML-N is GTR party,” he said.
