LAHORE: Future of Pakistan Hockey put into clouds of uncertainty again as Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) failed to get adequate funds for Pakistan-China series scheduled this month.
PHF troubled against following interminable financial crisis that delayed upcoming Pakistan-China series scheduled in February.
According to report, PHF President Akhtar Rasool became unsuccessful for grabbing funds from the government for the six-match series to be played in Pakistan and China.
The six matches series has been slotted in February, as three matches would have been played in Pakistan while the national team to pay a reply visit to China for rest of three matches.
However, the series put in the dark following severe shortage of funds while participation in upcoming Sultan Azlan Shah Cup is also suspicious for Pakistan team deprived of sound response from the government.
