PIA Plane Crashes Near Karachi Airport

Karachi: A plane of national carrier PIA crashed near Karachi airport. The PIA plane was coming from Lahore. 

The plane crashed in the residential area of Model Colony while rescue teams have left for towards the spot.

Heavy casualty is being feared in the plane crash as it crashed in the residential area.

PIA Chairman

According to Chairman PIA 100 passengers were on board the plane which was coming to Karachi from Lahore.

ISPR

As per the ISPR, Army Quick Response Force and Rangers have reached the spot where the plane crashed.

The PIA plane PK-8303 had left for Karachi from Lahore at 1:08 pm carrying 99 aboard along with eight crew members.

Four houses have completely destroyed where the plane crashed while rescue bodies are facing difficulties due to thin streets.

MD Karachi  Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) 

MD water board Asad Ullah Khan has implemented emergency on all hydrants of the city while KWSB officials are closely in touch with fire brigade officials.

Health Minister Sindh

Health Minister Sindh Azra Fazal Pechuho has imposed an emergency in all the hospitals of the city.

Azra Pechuho ordered the health ministry to cancel all the leaves of staff and call them back on duty after the deadly plane crash incident.

The minister ordered to provide all possible treatment to injured.

Abbtakk News Acquires List Of Passengers 

Abbtakk News has acquired a list of passengers and crew members of the unfortunate flight PK-8303.

All the eight crew members of the plane belonged to Lahore which included Sajjad Gul, Usman Azam, Fareed Ahmed, Abdul Qayoom, Malik Irfan, Madeeha Ikram, Amna Irfan and Asma Shahzadi.

Pakistan Navy

Pakistan Navy has sent four fire tenders to douse the fire at the plane crash site.

Injured Recovered

As many as 20 injured have been evacuated from the crash site.

Federal Minister For Aviation

Federal Minister for aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has ordered an immediate probe to air-craft accident investigation board.
