The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) completed the process of acquiring three A-30 planes on lease from Srilankan Airlines. In this connection CEO PIA Bernd Hildenbrand has signed over agreement from Srilankan Airlines in Colombo.
According to PIA spokesman, Pakistan would get one aircraft in next week wheres rest of two would be given in the next month. As three aircraft are in new condition and will be used for PIA premier service. PIA premier service will formally begin initially for London on August 14.
However, six flights in week for premier service will be fixed; three for Islamabad and three from Lahore to London. In this regard PIA CEO Bernd Hildenbrand has signed an agreement with Srilankan airlines CEO Captain Suren Ratwatte in Colombo.
After issuance of premier service more new aircraft will be operated in other sectors.
