A monitoring agency Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development And Transparency PILDAT has used review report of all provincial assembly for third parliamentary year while the report showed overall performance of Sindh assembly 64 %.
The report said that percentage of presence of members of assemblies of SIndh and Baluchistan were 34 percent while KP percentage stood at 32 % and Punjab’s 13%. Besides that Sindh assembly introduced 9 private bills previous year while Baluchistan and Punjab passed one private members bill each.
As per the report Chief Minister Punjab presence in assembly was the least that is 5% while CM Baluchistan Dr Abdul Malik and Sana Ullah Zehri attended the assembly session the most and their attendance is 59%. On the other side CM Sindh presence in assembly stood at 51 percent and CM KP Perviaz Khattak attendance was 29 percent.
Punjab Assembly passed the most 46 number of bills, while Sindh passed 28, Baluchistan, 23 and KP assembly passed 18 bills.
The PILDAT survey said that in previous year Punjab did legislation up to 60 percent, KP and Baluchistan did 20 percent.
