Pillion Riding Banned for 10 Days in Quetta

Quetta (February 14, 2018): After the wake of terror attack, that claimed lives of four frontier corps, the home department of Balochistan has banned pillion riding for ten days in Quetta that will come into effects form today, Wednesday.

At least four Frontier Corps personnel were killed in Langoabad area at Saryab Road when their vehicle came under attack from unidentified miscreants on Wednesday, today.

 According to the notification of home department the ban will come into effect from today and will continue till February 24.

Four FC Personnel Martyred

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Quetta Razzaq Cheema said the security personnel were on routine patrol when attacked by miscreants in Dukkani Baba area of Sariab Road.

The security forces had cordoned off the area and started search for the culprits. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta.

The victims were identified as Naek Saeed, Lance Naek Muhammad Shabbir, Lance Naek Aslam and soldier Amjad Haroon.

Informing regarding the decision, IG Balochistan Muazzam Jah said that there was no CCTV camera in the vicinity of the attack, however, experts are analyzing the evidences. He further hoped that the culprits would be soon arrested.
