Kashmiris Not Alone, 20 Crore Pakistanis Stand By Them: PM

Muzzafarabad (February 05, 2018):  Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Kashmiris are not alone, 20 crore Pakistanis stand by them.

Addressing the joint session of the AJK Legislative Assembly and the AJK Council in Muzaffarabad PM expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

He said Kashmir policy is in our hearts and no one can separate us from it.

The premier maintained that people of Kashmir have been deprived of freedom for seven decades, and Hurriyat leaders are being harassed continuously.

He gave a clear message to India to stop its viciousness in the occupied land and once again make it clear that Pakistan will continue to support Kashmiris on all forums.He said the entire Pakistani nation stand by the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for right to self determination.

He said Pakistan will continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people.

The Prime Minister said that the hearts of Pakistani and Kashmiri people throb together. This centuries old unbreakable relationship will remain intact forever.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Pakistan has always strived and will continue to work for peaceful resolution of the lingering dispute.The Prime Minister said despite political differences, all the political parties in Pakistan are on the same page vis-a-vis Kashmir dispute.

He said there has been no change in Pakistan’s Kashmir policy. Kashmir policy, he said, is save in our hearts and it is the same as it was seventy years ago.

The Prime Minister said that we value the sacrifices being rendered by the innocent people and the personnel of armed forces on the line of control.He said despite blatant use of oppression and use of force, Modi government has failed to suppress or dampen the spirit of freedom amongst the Kashmiri people.

He said the elected representatives of Azad Kashmir should mobilize Kashmiri diaspora abroad to highlight the dispute at world forums.

Referring to the development in Azad Kashmir, the Prime Minister said that the present government has doubled the development budget of the territory.He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor project will greatly benefit the people of Azad Kashmir and bring visible change in their lives.

The Prime Minister said the federal government will provide all the resources and assistance for the development in Azad Kashmir.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz will also address a public gathering in Muzaffarabad to express solidarity with Kashmiris.

Over 16,000 chairs have been set up by the organisers at the University College ground Muzaffarabad. The venue ground and nearby areas have been decorated with the welcoming banners for the PML-N leaders.Millions of Pakistan across the globe mark the day to express their support to the Kashmiris in the struggle for their inalienable right to self-determination under the United Nations (UN) resolution.

It is worth mentioning here that Kashmir Day is being observe in Pakistan today to raise voice against the brutality of Indian Army, and rallies are being conducted across the country.
