Islamabad(February 06, 2018): the federal cabinet meeting with the chair of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi underway as law and order situation along with other important issues being discussed during the meeting.
Earlier, on January 31 the cabinet extended 60 days stay to Afghan immigrants, the extension of stay to be implemented on registration card holders only.
According to the press release, PM extended the low fee scheme for under development area’s student.
The scheme will be extended to the 114 districts of Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, South Punjab, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
Federal cabinet has signed the decisions of Economic Communication Committee and Electricity Committee.
The cabinet has passed the cultural executive memorandum between Pakistan and China and appointment of protector of immigrants in Rawalpindi and Peshawar.
The federal cabinet has refused to take their decision back to pay cheque for sugarcane price by postponing the National Food Security Policy.
