ISLAMABAD: Considering the ongoing regional situation, Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a meeting of National Security Committee (NSC) on Sunday (today).
The meeting will review ongoing condition at Line of Control and Working Boundary as Indian forces resorted to cluster bombs, targetting civilian areas of Pakistan and claiming innocent lives.
In a Twitter message, the federal government’s spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan revealed the summoning of an important meeting.

Moreover, the attendees will also discuss ongoing scenario in Indian held Kashmir after it was reported through unofficial sources that Indian troops were plotting for massive bloodshed in the occupied valley.
The meeting will be attended by Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Interior Minister Ijaz Ahmed Shah, Law Minister Mohammad Farogh Naseem, Finance Adviser Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman, DG ISI Lt Gen Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, and senior civil and military officers.
