ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader Ahsan Iqbal lashing out at Prime Minister Imran Khan said that no leader of any country never defames his own country during his visit to abroad by calling it corrupt.
Talking to journalists in Lahore, following the party meeting chaired by Shehbaz Sharif, Ahsan Iqbal said that 80 per cent of the population is hopeless with the current condition of the country. “The PML-N is being subjected to revenge”, he added.
He went on to say that a reference has not been filed against anyone including former premiers, Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
PML-N leader asserted that Imran Khan is worried about putting the opposition into the jail. “He visited the US and talked about turning off the TV of Nawaz Sharif”, he added. He continued saying that dozens of countries in the world are more corrupt than Pakistan.
He emphasized expressing, “The head of a corrupt country does not go to any other nation and calls out his own country corrupt. This is the mind of a sick person”.
Commenting over Rana Sanaullah case he said that safe city footage in connection with Rana case has exposed the government’s lies as even the cases of drugs not registered during the Musharraf tenure.
