LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif rejected the resignation of former Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar and directed him to resume his duties.

A delegation of federal ministers comprising Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Economic Affairs Minister Ayaz Sadiq, and Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique led by the financial czar Ishaq Dar, visited Tarar’s residence in Islamabad to convey the PM’s message to Azam Tarar.

Responding to the premier’s message, Azam agreed to take charge as federal minister once again.

It is pertinent to mention here that on October 25, Tarar had sent his resignation to President Dr Arif Alvi, and had cited personal reasons behind his resignation from the post.
