LAHORE: The Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday telephoned and directed the Punjab information minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan to stay in Lahore.
According to details, PM Imran Khan telephoned provincial information minister and got the detail information over the Wednesday incident, in which lawyers attacked Pakistan Institute of Cardiology (PIC) and vandalized it.
PM lauded his effort to solve the issue and reaching on the spot.
During the incident Fayyazyk Hassan Chohan reached on the spot, however, unluckily he came under the lawyers’ wilderness and they tortured him along with other people.
Talking to him PM Imran said that no one could have been allowed to target the hospitals as government onus to protect each department of the society.
“Tomorrow’s incident was shameful but a big loss has been avoided due to timely action by the Punjab government,” he said directing Punjab government to make sure to avoid such kind of incidents in future.
