Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered Chairman FBR and respective institutions to provide facilities to overceas Pakistani investors.
The premier presided weekly National Coordination Committee (NCC) for housing, construction and development wherein he was briefed on provision of electricity and gas connections for construction projects by power and petroleum division.
Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority apprised mutual cooperation brokered with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) for the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.
The PM directed to not to burden those who took loans for construction of their houses with additional financial load. Ministry of power also directed to form standard procedure to make new grid stations.
Prime Minister clarified to make long process of approvals easy for taking various utility services.
Secretary Ministry of Housing and Works briefed about the residential project Pakistan Quarters which is constructing in Karachi. Under the project as many as 6000 apartments will be constructed. In the first phase, construction of 700 apartments with the cost of four billion rupees will be started in the next three month.
The premier also directed the FBR to provide facilities to overseas Pakistanis investors.
