Islamabad (April 06, 2018): First female Leader of the Opposition in Senate, Sherry Rehman on Friday submitting privilege motion against Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Senate said that PM has convicted of disrespecting chairman Senate and PPP will strongly raise voice against him.
Talking to media outside the parliament Sherry Rehman rejected PM statement and said that the premier should have not delivered such negative remarks regarding the Senate polls. She also demanded him to apologize.
Commenting over tax amnesty scheme she said that sudden bringing of tax reform in just nights raised serious questions over the scheme.
Replying question over Kashmir, she said that PPP will soon submitted resolution over Kashmir in parliament. She said there was desperate need to highlight the issue globally and express nation unity over the issue.
Answering another query, Sherry said that the resolving of FATA issues was the top most agenda of PPP and for the purpose the FATA parliamentarians will be discussed in details.
