PM Exemption Plea For Appearing Before Court In Ramzan Sugar Mills Approved

Lahore: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz on Monday appeared before an accountability court of Lahore in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case while the court approved the PM petition for exemption for appearance before the court on permanent basis.

The AC Lahore heard the Ramzan Sugar Mills case where the PM and the Punjab CM attended the hearing.

At the occasion, the CM Punjab filed a plea for exemption for appearing before the court due to his engagements regarding the budget session.

The counsel of the PM, Amjad Pervez arguing for the permanent exemption from the appearance before the court by the PM said that whenever his client went to abroad always submitted pleas for exemption appearance before the court adding that he never used the court orders wrongly.

PM Shahbaz counsel said that Shahbaz Sharif is battling chronic illness cancer and having age of 67 years.
The court marked the attendance of all the accused including the PM and allowed him to go.

Over concluding of the case the court reserved the verdict on the PM plea. Moreover, the court approving the PM plea of exemption for appearing before the court constantly adjourned the hearing till July 5.

Moreover the AC also conducted hearing of Ashyiana Housing Scandal against PM Shahbaz Sharif , Ahad Cheema and other accused. The PM appeared before the court for marking of his attendance.
