Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has held separate meetings with Governor Punjab Rafiq Rajwana and delegation of Gilgit-Baltistan to discuss ongoing development projects in South Punjab and formation of government in Gilgit Baltistan region respectively.
Government spokesperson said that Govenor Punjab Rafiq Rajwana called on PM Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday. During the meeting, PM Nawaz Sharif said that bigger development projects are being launched in South Punjab.
He said that all part of the country including South Punjab would be benefitted by Pakistan China Economic Corrdiror project.
PM Nawaz also held another meeting with GB delegation and congratulated over organisation of peaceful election in the region. He said that PML-N government prioritised provision of basic facilities to GB locals.
PM Nawaz also gave Rs50 lakh cheque top Hassan Sadpara over services to promote mountaineering in Pakistan. He said that merit and transparency must be made in every sector following moto of the ruling political party.
