ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has called the federal cabinet meeting on November 19 to deliberate upon major issues.
A seven-point agenda has been issued for the federal cabinet huddle wherein according to sources country’s political and economic situation will be reviewed while the premier will also take into confidence the cabinet on decisions taken by ruling Pakistan Teheek-e-Insaf (PTI) core-committee.
The meeting will endorse decisions taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) and the Cabinets special committee on CPEC in its earlier meetings.
The cabinet will be briefed on National Tariff Policy (NTP) while approval of NTF is part of the agenda of the cabinet meeting while a report will be presented in the huddle regarding vacant positions of (Chief Executive Officers) CEO’s,(Managing Directors) MD’s in ministries and departments.
The meeting will approve the appointment of CEO in Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) while the appointment of federal insurance ombudsman is also part of the agenda of the federal cabinet meeting.
