BEIJING: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday called on Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss affairs of mutual interests.
A Pakistani delegation led by country’s premier Imran Khan met with the Chinese President Xi Jinping in Great Hall.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is on his second official visit to China since assuming charge as the premier. He visited China to attend second Belt and Road Forum on the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The Pakistani premier and his delegation also met with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and discussed affairs of mutual interests and regional cooperation.
PM Imran during his visit to China also met with other key leaders of the World and notable dignitaries including Ethiopian President Abiy Ahmed Ali, Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan and CEO of the World Bank Christine Lagarde and discussed important affairs.
Delegation-level talks were held between the two countries during the meeting at the Great Hall of the People. Other than the PM Imran, Pakistani delegation is comprised of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Financial Adviser Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Federal Minister of Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and Federal Minister of Planning Khushro Bakhtiar.
