Islamabad (December 13, 2018): Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss important security-related matters on Thursday.
According to details, COAS General Bajwa reached PM house, in Islamabad to meet Premier Imran Khan.
During the meeting, matters related to the overall security situation of the country and ongoing operation against terrorism were discussed, said sources within government ranks.
Chief of Army Staff, General Bajwa also briefed the Prime Minister about country’s overall security situation during the meeting.
Earlier in the day, Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that military will continue to support all state institutions for peace, stability and progress of the country in the best interest of the people of Pakistan.
He made these views while chairing Corps Commanders Conference (CCC) on Thursday at military headquarters, Rawalpindi.

The Corps Commanders’ Conference has also pledged to safeguard against all external threats while consolidating gains of counter-terrorism military operations, which have put security situation of the country on a positive trajectory for socio-economic progress and development.
The pledge was made at 216th Corps Commanders’ Conference, presided Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, in Rawalpindi.
