ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attack along the Pak-Afghan border and expressed his solidarity with the families of martyred soldiers.
PM Imran Khan took to Twitter and condemned the cross-border attack in North Waziristan.
He tweeted on his timeline; “My condolences & prayers go to the families of our 3 soldiers martyred while repulsing the condemnable terrorist attack in Alwara area of North Waziristan.”

A day earlier, terrorists from Afghanistan attacked Pakistan Army personnel which claimed the lives of three soldiers and injured seven others, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to Pakistan military’s media wing, around 60-70 terrorist attacked Army soldiers near Alwara area of North Waziristan on Pak-Afghan border where Pakistan Army did timely retaliation and neutralised the threat.
The three soldiers who embraced martyrdom identified as Lance Naik Ali, Lance Naik Nazeer and Sepoy Imdad Ullah.
