ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to introduce the new local government (LG) system in the province.
The prime minister was chairing a review meeting about progress on the introduction of a new local government system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Imran Khan said that people in most of the areas remained deprived of health, education, clean drinking water and other basic facilities due to the bad administrative structure of the country.
The meeting was attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman, PM’s Advisor Muhammad Shahzad Arbab and Special Assistant Iftikhar Durrani.
