ISLAMABAD: Just after hours, the special assistant to PM for Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan denied the Faisal Vawda statement, in which he claimed extension in the amensty scheme, and said no final decision ye to be taken in this connection.
The minister for water resources Faisal Vawda announced on Saturday that on the people demand the amnesty scheme has been extended for four days.
Talking to media she said that in Pakistan’s parliamentary history opposition had never been given such long duration to talk over budget in NA.
“However, the opposition did not speak a single word in the interest of the general public as they seemed busy to show off themselves,” she said.
Special assistant to PM said that ruling party get approved the budget by showing his majority in the parliament while opposition only thumbed up desk and enjoyed TA and DA.
She lamenting over opposition conduct said that when they should come up to return the money got through TA and DA.
