ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday has given green signal dialogues with JUI-F Maulana Fazalur Rehman and set up a committee headed by the minister for defence Pervez Khattak in this connection.
PM made the decision while presiding over a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday which also reviewed overall law and order situation in the country.
The meeting has decided to talks with JUI-F chief and for the purpose, a committee has been formed heading by Pervez Khattak while he will himself choose the other members of the committee.
The meeting discussed the internal security situation of the country and measures for the protection of lives and properties of the people.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed about security arrangements for foreign heads of states visiting Pakistan in coming days.
The meeting was attended by Interior Minister Brigadier retired Ijaz Ahmed Shah, Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, and other senior officers.
