LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday evening inaugurated non-stop Jinnah Express train in Lahore.
The non-stop luxurious train will cover the distance between Lahore-Karachi in fifteen hours.
The newly inaugurated Jinnah Express is comprised of 12 air-conditioned business coaches, two power plants and a dining car.
The fare of the train is Rs7,000 for adults and Rs5,250 (Children). Jinnah Express will make stopovers at Khanewal, Rohri and Hyderabad junctions.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Jinnah Express Train in Lahore, PM said that he felt glad to inviting him for train inauguration as the government has the plan to spread the network of trains with the cooperation of China.
“I have the opinion that economically weak sections of society should be granted health cards and in favour of increment of the labourers’ salaries,” he said
