ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday has summoned meeting party and government spokespersons ahead of his speech at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
According to sources, the meeting will be held at the PM office at 01:30 pm. The aggressive policy of the government will be deliberated upon during the meeting.
The current situation of India-Occupied Kashmir and PM Imran’s address at UNGA will also be the part of the discussion, sources informed.
Earlier, the premier has decided to adopt austerity measures during his upcoming visit to the United States by taking a commercial flight instead of opting to charter a plane.
According to sources, PM Khan’s visit to the US later this month will cost only to $162,000 to the national exchequer.
On the other hand former premier Nawaz Sharif spent $1,113,142 on his US visit in 2016 while former president Asif Zardari in 2012 consumed $1,309,620 from national kitty for his US visit.
