ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday summoned a meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee for Friday (today) to discuss the current political and economic situation in the country.
The meeting is scheduled to take place today at 5 pm at the Prime Minister’s Office.
According to sources, the PTI core committee will discuss the removal of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
Apart from this, increasing food prices, inflation and current economic situation will also be discussed during the meeting, sources said and added that key decisions will also be taken in the sitting.
Sources said that parliamentary issues and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) sit-in and its plan B will also be discussed in the meeting.
