PM Imran Decides To Meet Members Of Coalition Parties

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to meet prominent members of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid e Azam (PML-Q) and other coalition parties on Tuesday (today).

According to sources, a delegation of coalition parties’ members headed by PML-Q president Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain will call on PM Imran Khan in the federal capital.

It will talk over the provision of independence to their ministers in central and provincial governments.

Federal minister Tariq Bashir Cheema, Moonis Elahi, Chaudhary Salik Hussain and Chaudhary Hussain Elahi will be part of the delegation that will call on the premier.

Prime Minister’s special assistant Naeemul Haq will be in attendance with the Premier during their meeting with the delegation.

In next phase of the meeting, premier Imran Khan will also meet leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA).

Earlier on January 18, PML-Q leader and Punjab minerals minister Hafiz Ammar Yasir tendered his resignation to his party leadership.

In his resignation, he stated, “I accepted my position as minister for the country and nation, but obstacles are being brought up in my work without reason, hindering me to work freely and exercise my authority”.
