Karachi (October 14, 2017) : Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Saturday inaugurated the country’s first coal, clinker and cement terminal at Port Qasim today.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister said that the way forward for progress and prosperity of the country was a democratic setup.

He said that there many be shortcomings in our democracy, but these will be removed with passage of time as democracy is an evolving process.
The prime minister enumerated a numbers of projects conceived, executed and completed by PML-N governments. He added that PML-N government a numbers of energy projects. He added that the government had initiated two thousands kilometers motorways in the country.
Abbasi said that by December this year, sufficient gas would be available in the country for different industrial sectors.
He added that in dictatorship the country did not progress and prosper. He said that the decision to sent home government for failure of service delivery should rest with people.
He added that any government which did not perform and solve the problems of masses would be sent home by the people.Earlier when the prime minister reached Karachi he was received by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and Governor Mohammad Zubair.
A Governor House spokesman said that the premier woas briefed on the Pakistan gas port consortium of the Fauji Oil Terminal & Distribution Limited.The spokesman said that the prime minister would also be apprised of all development projects run by governor house in cooperation with the federal government.
PM Abbasi will also meet the officials of the Pakistan Stock Exchange, and will be briefed on the four-year performance of the index.
