Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan is moving quickly towards peace and stability of the region as well as it’s progress including lasting economic stability.
PM Nawaz met Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni in Islamabad, where they exchanged their ideas over cooperation in various fields, including defense and trade.
During meeting, Italian Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s policy to improve relations with neighboring countries and establishment of peace in Afghanistan.He appreciated Pakistan’s policies for the protection of women and minorities.
However, Paolo Gentiloni has assured PM Nawaz for every possible effort against terrorism, PM Nawaz said that he wanted to increase trade volume between Pakistan and Italy, adding that despite of several challenges, Pakistan is growing towards peace and stability of the region as well as it’s progress including sustainable economic stability.
