Jeddah (June 13, 2017): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday night left for their homeland after a successful visit to Saudi Arabia to help defuse tension between Saudi block and Qatar.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif along with a high-level delegation had met with King Salman Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and discussed the ways to reduce the tension among the Gulf countries which is also agonizing for the entire Muslim Ummah.
King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz gave great importance to the PM’s suggestions to deescalate tension among the members of Gulf Cooperation Council.
King Salman Salman Bin Abdul Aziz received the PM Nawaz Sharif and his delegation upon arrival in Saudi Arabia on a one-day visit and hold Iftar dinner with him.
PM Nawaz Sharif’s delegation was comprised of Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar, Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and senior officials.
