LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JI) chief Siraj ul Haq criticised Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday by saying that people were tired of listening to his emotional speeches again and again.
The JI chief said that the prime minister needed to achieve something instead of making tall claims.
“During the past 15 months the government has not been able to bring about change in any field,” he said. “Where is the justice in filling the coffers by stealing food from people’s mouths?”
Siraj said that the government was unable to control inflation.
“The government is stealing money from people’s pockets,” he said. “For the rich and the poor, the courts, hospitals and educational institutes are different.”
He said that Prime Minister Imran should worry about the future of the country.
The JI chief was referring to the prime minister’s speech from the previous day when he lashed out at opposition parties and made fun of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
