PM, President And Other Ministers Express Grief Over Life Of Troops In Chopper Crash

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Dr Arif Alvi, today expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of six army officials including two pilots in a helicopter crash in Harnai, Balochistan.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said the entire nation was grieved over the loss of lives of the troops and their families.

The prime minister prayed for the departed souls to rest in peace and for the grant of patience to the bereaved family.

President Dr Arif Alvi paid tribute to the officials of Pakistan Army who laid down their lives in the line of their duty.

The president expressed these views on the martyrdom of six army troops including two pilots in a helicopter crash in Harnai, Balochistan.

The president prayed for the departed souls of Major Muneeb Afzal, Major Khurram Shehzad, Subedar Abdul Wahid, Naik Jaleel, Sepoy Muhammad Imran and Sepoy Shoaib.

He also prayed for the grant of patience to the families of the martyred troops.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb expressed deep grief over martyrdom of six army officials in a helicopter crash in Harnai , Balochistan last night.

In a statement, the minister expressed her condolences with the families of the martyred, saying that the sacrifices of Pakistan forces were unforgettable and highly commendable.

The minister said those who were martyred in the accident were the real heroes and the entire nation saluted for their great sacrifices.
Interior Minister expresses deep grief over helicopter crash incident

Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of Army officials and personnel in Hernai helicopter crash.

He prayed for higher ranks for the departed souls in heaven and expressed his grief over the martyrdom of the military officials and personnel.

He said the entire nation saluted to the martyred souls and indebted to their sacrifices.
He also commiserated with the bereaved families.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday that six Pakistan Army officials, including two majors, were martyred after a helicopter crashed during a flying mission near Khost in Harnai, Balochistan.

“All six personnel on board, including two pilots, have embraced shahadat,” the military’s media affairs wing said, adding that the incident occurred late last night.
