Karachi (November 29, 2017): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will visit Karachi today during which he will inaugurate two coal-based power plants at Port Qasim.
The Prime Minister will arrive in the port city on daylong visit today. During his visit, Abbasi will inaugurate two coal-based power plants of 1320 MW capacity under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at Port Qasim.

The Prime Minister will chair a high level meeting at Governor House Karachi regarding law and order situation in the province especially in Karachi.
The PM will also preside over a meeting over Karachi package and federally-funded development projects in the city.
The meeting will be attended by Chief Minister Sindh, Governor and Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar among other high officials.
During his daylong stay in the city, the prime minister will also meet different political personalities and people from business community.
The PM will return to Islamabad in the evening.
