PML-N Announces Mass Contact Campaign After Eid Ul Fitr

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced a countrywide mass contact campaign against inflation and joblessness after Eid-Ul-Fitr while talking about the campaign former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that their aim is to solve masses grievances instead of throwing the government or getting power.

Addressing a presser along with the party leaders, former premier and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart, Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that people are badly affected by the inflation adding that our target is to solve problems of the people instead of dethroning government or assuming the power.

Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that all parties conference, decided by the opposition parties yesterday on the occasion of PPP iftar dinner, will decide to take to streets or not against the government.

The PML-N senior leader said that a lot of doubts are existed in the government bail-out package with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and demanded to present the IMF conditions before the masses.

Criticizing the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), he said that the anti-corruption should issue denial over the interview of its chairman to a national daily adding that what he said in the interview not of his stature while everyone saying that the graft-buster actions are based on revenge instead of accountability.

The ex-premier said that the PML-N has the narrative of respecting votes today and it had in past as well adding that if Nawaz Sharif today is in jail just because of the narrative.

He added that if we found people grievances could be solved through dethroning the government then we will demand it.
