LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan has disqualified former MPA of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) on Wednesday from 2013 and ordered him to return all privileges he was using from 2013.
The decision was made by the three-member bench headed by chief election commissioner Sardar Muhammad Raza on the petition filed by a citizen.
In its initial verdict, ECP stated that Tariq Mehmood has been disqualified from 2013 and he was ordered to return all perks he was enjoyed from 2013 to 2018.
The petitioner in his plea had requested that MPA Tariq Mehmood had not shown his all assets in nomination papers and he also misinterpreted regarding his assessments.
