Islamabad (February 22, 2018): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Thursday issued new Senate tickets to its nominees for the Senate elections, after the apex court on Wednesday removed Nawaz Sharif as the party head and nullified his all decisions.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the PML-N consultative body at Punjab House, Islamabad. Raja Zafarul Haq issued the tickets to the party nominees as the Chairman Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
He said that tickets would now be submitted in his name because as per the constitution, he is now entitled to issue the tickets to the party nominees.
According to sources, PML-N Chairman Raja Zafarul Haq, Minister for CAD Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Anusha Rehman left for the ECP office Islamabad to submit the new party certificates.
