ISLAMABAD: Former energy minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Owais Leghari has condemned hike in electricity prices by the government.
Addressing a presser in Islamabad press club former energy minister Owais Leghari said that the incumbent government has completely failed in electricity generation.
PML-N leader Owais Leghari asked the government how many power transformers it installed and how many systems did it upgrade in the last eight months of the government.
Owais Leghari said that Imran government did not talk about electricity generation up till now adding that country will face worst load shedding in next days.
He said we did not see any government measures to stop electricity theft adding that the government increasing power tariff continuously instead of increasing power generation.
The PML-N leader warned that if the government did not generate electricity it will badly affect the economy of the country.
