ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has contacted to National Assembly (NA) secretariat to summon meetings of NA standing committees.
The PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzaib, Rana Tanveer Hussain called on secretary NA over not summoning meetings of standing committees of Railways and Science and Technology.
Talking to media after the meet-up, the PML-N leaders said that the standing committees meeting are not being called of which Khwaja Saad Rafique is a member.
She said that irrespective of whether issuing production order or not for Khawaja Saad Rafique but the standing committees meetings be called.
She said that Khawaja Saad Rafique is a member of standings committees on Science and Technology, Railways and Law and justice.
Nominated Chairman Public Accounts Committee from PML-N, Rana Tanveer Hussain said he is requested secretary NA to call standing committees meetings while the secretary ensured that the meetings will be called soon.
Rana Tanveer further added that talks are continued to change the PAC chairman.
